Seattle signed placekicker Jeff Reed, who kicked for the Steelers for eight seasons and finished last season with the San Francisco 49ers.
Chargers offensive tackle Marcus McNeill is expected to miss two weeks after undergoing surgery to remove a bone spur from his knee.The Chargers easily were the most talented team not to make the playoffs last season. When Pat Kirwan visited training camp this year, he found a team hell-bent on making sure that won't happen again.
